Meet the creator
Hi, I’m Emily — the baker, designer and hands behind The Little Caker.
With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, my journey has taken me from cafés and patisseries to bistros and fine dining restaurants. I hold a Bachelor of Culinary Arts, along with postgraduate qualifications in food design — a foundation that allows me to approach dessert not just as baking, but as craft and creative expression.
The Little Caker was born from my love of baking and all things sweet and creative.
I’m passionate about creating desserts that feel as beautiful as they taste — where flavour, detail, and presentation come together seamlessly. Whether I’m designing a bold, feminine statement piece, a playful children’s cake, or something refined and understated, my focus is always the same: creating something memorable.
Through my studies, I’ve had the opportunity to design desserts around themes, briefs, and even TV-inspired concepts — exploring how food can tell a story and bring an idea to life. I love the creative challenge of translating a vision into something both visually striking and genuinely delicious.
Petite in stature but big on vision, I built this brand as a space to explore creativity through dessert — combining technique, design, and imagination to create pieces that feel special, thoughtful, and truly one of a kind.
Every order is personally designed and crafted by me, with care, precision, and genuine love for what I do.
